for the writers bench
black book show at revolver melbourne
on the 8th dec
the idea for the show was for artist to make
prints from there black book
this a pencil drawing from my black book
overlayed with the sepia tone in photo shop
and edtion of 10 giclee prints where made for the show
I stayed in Melbourne for the holidays - just bummed around. Managed to get some work into a gallery (Gallery 696 in Brunswick) so I'm stoked about that.
My family had one of these when I was a kid. My sister and I would take turns in riding it to school, but as your picture demonstrates very clearly, they have a tendency to urinate at the drop of a hat, and in biblical proportions. In the end, the school requested that we leave it at home, saying that it caused a drowning risk for the younger kiddies.
We ended up swapping it for a lawn mower at a local church fete. It's name was Drippy.
